Fashion – A marvellous world of Art or … ?

Fashion is diverse, fashion is art, expression, creativity, inspiration, passion. Fashion can be a demonstration of political or cultural affiliation, and also a very intimate portraying of your soul.
But does the fashion industry have a dark side, too? Aspects like superficiality, adaption because of group pressure and reputation in society lead to negative overtones.

It doesn´t matter how intensive your relationship to something is, how much convinced you are of something, you will always find small parts you don´t entirely agree with. But isn´t it the concept of the whole which forms a perfect outcome?
Fashion for me is art, passion, love and a special companion. Some people express their feelings and views with music, dance, or writing, others do it with fashion.

I think this is a very wise and true statement. Every woman feels more confident in the right clothing, dresses can change the whole effect you have on people, and here I am not talking about expensive fashion. The key is to find the perfect designs for yourself, pieces you feel comfortable with.
Inner Beauty is much more important than the appearance, that´s true, but to spread out charisma and character you have to feel confident and fashion is able to support this inner strentgh. The right fashion makes you feel special and secure, which influences your charisma in a positive way.
A long time ago the main use of clothing obviously had only a practical background, but already since hundreds of years the meaning of fashion changed and it became much more complex.
At first sight many people probably see fashion as an exclusively superficial object, but what about all the profound aspects which make out the idea of fashion.
Political background for example, fashion as a demonstration of political belongings, or fashion as art. With fashion you present amongst other things your personal taste of art, your style. You are able to be creative in living out your own view of the perfect look, it is your own piece of art. Isn´t that one of the best parts about fashion? There is a huge variety of different designs and there are no rules, personal preferences and creativity are your own companions.
In some respects, the way you dress also reflects your character. It gives a little insight of your personality and attracts people with similar styles. It is a great possibility to connect and simultaneously live out your personal creativity.
Generally, I think fashion plays an important role in the world today, and I am not talking about superficiality, or the expression of power and money. I am talking about art, expressing your views, supporting your confidence, living out your personal view of fashion. Be unique and don´t hesitate , fashion is art and art is where the heart is, right?
